We are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Project Managers to ensure the successful execution of various construction projects, including multi-family homes, condominiums, apartments, assisted living facilities, and hotels.
Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be entrusted with a wide variety of tasks that are crucial to the successful completion of our projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1.
Assisting the Project Manager in planning and executing projects from inception to completion.
2.
Coordinating and supervising the activities of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
3.
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction specialists to ensure project specifications are met.
4.
Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports.
5.
Managing and mitigating project risks and issues, and providing timely and effective solutions.
6.
Monitoring and reporting on project progress to stakeholders, and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
7.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards, regulations, and laws.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Project Manager role will possess the following qualifications and skills:
1.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on multi-family and condominium construction.
2.
Proven experience in managing construction projects, including condominiums, apartments, assisted living facilities, and hotels.
3.
A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
4.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
5.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
6.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7.
Proficiency in using project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
